Artifact: WEEBLY BLOG POST
Reflection:
This artifact is located on my Weebly page. It is a reflection post the ITEC 7430 class that I have taken in the Instructional Technology Specialist’s Program at Kennesaw State University. This post gives my insight on how ITEC 7430 worked for me, and what all I have learned throughout the course. This reflection gave a lot of information on topics that we covered in this class, such as Digital Divide and Virtual Tools. By using this post, I was able to give my opinions and facts that I had researched about these topics. All blog posts for this program can be found on the Weebly Blog page.
Standard 6.2, Reflection, allows candidates regularly evaluate and reflect on their professional practice and dispositions to improve and strengthen their ability to effectively model and facilitate technology-enhanced learning experiences. When completing this blog post, I was able to evaluate and reflect on the professional practice and dispositions that occurred throughout this course. This blog was also a way to show that throughout this course I was able to effectively model and facilitate technology-enhanced learning experiences. I used different digital tools to plan out ways that I would implement certain strategies into the classroom.
I was able to learn a lot through the courses at Kennesaw State. ITEC 7430 was a great course to help me understand the importance of digital divide and virtual tools. If I had to change anything about this blog post, I would be able to implement more of these tools into the classroom. Through reading this post, other students may want to complete this program so that they can learn the interesting things that we have learned throughout this program.
This artifact shows different topics that would be great professional development opportunities for our teachers at North LaFayette. Our teachers are constantly asking for different digital tools and resources, but then when they get them they are not trained on how to use them. These topics could open up great information sessions for teachers. They would appreciate any help that was given to them. The impact of this assessment could be measured by how many people visit my blog.
